ST OSWALDS A lead the way in the Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association Monday league following a 12-3 win at Alford A.
Best winners were Brian Lawton, 21-6, and Jason Lockett, 21-8, with John Green taking the home sweep, 21-14.
Grange A are second after winning 11-4 at Rylands A, with Brian Lewis, 21-11, and John Garratt, 21-12, the top winners. Paddy Birmingham replied with a 21-5 success for Rylands.
King and Queen A are third after defeating Grapes 12-2, with Alan Manuel, 21-4, and Ray Goodhand, 21-7, the best winners.
Tetley A beat Grange B 10-4, with Stan Martin, 21-9, and Peter Cowell, 21-10, hitting form. Karl Whitfield’s 21-13 was Grange’s best reply.
Woolston A’s 10-4 victory over Eagle A included wins from Brian Cook 21-3 and Ian Porter 21-4.
