A YOUNG Lymm second team put in a creditable performance but were beaten by Fylde in the Miller Homes League Bateman BMW Premier Division.
Lymm responded to a Fylde try and penalty with a try from Jack Warrington but the home side then went further ahead.
Martin Bower crossed to reduce the deficit to three points but Fylde added two more tries before Hollington kicked a consolation penalty.
