THE world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of perforated metal hopes its 30-year anniversary of producing in the UK can spark job creation and new investment.
RMIG currently employs more than 30 people at its site on the Birchwood Park industrial estate.
The company has already made a multi-million pound investment in the latest press technology and has recently installed an advanced new, low environmental impact washing and degreasing line.
RMIG managing director, Richard Bunker, said: “In many respects, we’re a local success story and epitomise everything that is great about UK engineering.
“With the latest production systems, innovative high value products and a highly skilled and motivated workforce drawn from the local community.”
