TEAMS of football legends and celebrities met to raise money for a Warrington charity.
The two sides played out an exciting game at the home of Altrincham FC to raise money for Higher Whitley based Moore Foundation.
Among the names on show were former Manchester United stars Clayton Blackmore, Lee Martin (a patron of the charity), Arthur Albiston, Sammy McIlroy and Frank Stapleton.
Nigel Garner, foundation chairman, said: “On behalf of everyone from the charity and the beneficiaries of the fundraising efforts, I’d like to thank everyone who contributed towards the day and made it the success we hoped for.”
