Developers want to replace it with a business park including employment sites and industrial units and more than 500 jobs.
It will need new road junctions on Winwick Road and Cromwell Avenue.
Meanwhile plans are also in place to redevelop the neighbouring Alban Retail Park.
Developers want to build five new retail units, open a new restaurant and create a new junction on Winwick Road and improve the current access off Hawleys Lane.
It is earmarked to create 260 jobs.
