WARRINGTON has been named one of the luckiest places to live in the UK - according to The National Lottery.
Boffins at the lottery have revealed that in the 17 years since the game started, the Warrington WA postcode has created 82 jackpot winners while 326 have banked a prize of £50,000 or more.
It is seventh in the list of luckiest places revealed today.
One in 1,428 of adults in Warrington have now pocketed a prize of more than £50,000 since The National Lottery began in 1994 and residents have taken home more than £159 million in big prizes to date.
Romford in Essex topped the list.
