YOU know Christmas is coming when the Coca-Cola Holiday advert appears on tv.
And the iconic truck rolled into Warrington, outside the Tesco Extra store on Winwick Road yesterday, with scores of children enjoying the one-off opportunity to have their photos taken with the truck.
The much-loved Christmas truck is the star of the legendary Coca-Cola ‘Holidays Are Coming’ TV adverts, with a cult following of fans across the globe.
The stop was part of the truck’s nationwide tour, travelling 6,000 miles and delivering seasonal cheer to millions of people as it makes 100 stops at towns, cities and supermarkets across the UK and Ireland.
Zoe Howorth,from Coca-Cola GB, said: "The iconic Christmas Coca-Cola Trucks from the ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advertising campaign, are loved by millions of people across the world, and for many their appearance signals the start of the unofficial countdown to Christmas.
"We’re really excited to be building festive anticipation across the country, including Warrington, propelling the nation into celebratory action and spreading some holiday spirit along the way.”
