IKEA has recalled its BUSA children’s folding tents after concerns they could cause serious injuries.
The steel wire frame of the tent can break in use. This in turn can cause sharp ends to protrude through the tent fabric, which could cut a child.
Ikea is aware of three reports worldwide where the frame has broken. The tent has been on sale since June 30.
The Swedish furniture business said it apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The product article number is 101-920-08 and people can return it to Ikea Westbrook where they will receive a full refund.
