ONE Orford mum knows exactly what she will be wearing during Royal Wedding celebrations after re-creating a picture taken during Prince Charles and Diana’s wedding 30 years ago.
Sarah Hardman, of Windermere Avenue, and her neighbour Andrew Holden, posed in hats made by Sarah’s dad Harold Tighe during a party at St John’s Church, Bruche on July 29 1981 when they were aged four and five.
After losing touch when Andrew moved to Northampton, the pair got in contact again recently through social networking site Facebook and decided to recreate the photograph.
Sarah, aged 34, said: “We decided to do it as a bit of a joke while Andrew was back in Warrington.
“I was surprised how much I could remember from Diana’s wedding like playing egg and spoon races.
“I’m looking forward to watching the wedding on tv.”
