SCOTT Street Carnival will take place on Saturday, August 19, from noon until 5pm.
The family fun day, to be opened by the Mayor of Warrington, Clr Linda Dirir and her consort Allin Dirir, will raise cash for Green Lane Special School.
Attractions include a grand raffle, fire brigade exhibition, fairground, barbecue, tug of war, stalls, singers and children's races as well as a disco later in the evening at the Albion pub.
Businesses are being asked to donate gifts, vouchers or tokens as raffle prizes. All businesses that participate will have their company name displayed at the side of the stage on carnival day.
For more information, or to donate a prize, call chairman Ken Vance on 487349.
