LOST lorry drivers should be prevented from entering narrow village roads claims a councillor.
Clr Bob Hardie raised concerns at Walton Parish Council in October about the number of HGVs that were being guided through Stretton and Hatton by sat navs.
He noticed signs warning lorry drivers not to travel down narrow roads while he was on holiday in Snowdonia.
He says the signs should be placed at the entry to narrow roads like Hobb Lane and Holly Hedge Lane in Walton.
Research into the possibility found that the signs were piloted in Wales but not England.
