BOLD' new blocks of apartments are planned for the banks of the Mersey in Howley.
Developers think they can attract people with the prospect of waterfront living.
They say they would replace shabby industrial buildings with bold residential apartments', and enhance the increasing importance of the River Mersey'.
The proposal is for 88 double-bedroom apartments and nine with single bedrooms, with five affordable properties. Each would have a balcony, while the ground floor apartments would have a private terrace.
Planning permission has already been granted for 77 apartments but the developer has resubmitted the application because it says smaller apartments are in much higher demand in Warrington.
