YOUNG and old joined together to sing songs of praise at a special event earlier this month.
Pupils from Newchurch Primary School and Glazebury Primary School took part in the tuneful afternoon, which was held on Culcheth village green.
Members of the congregation from 10 churches in the area joined the school pupils and the crowds sang some new songs as well as old favourites.
The event was organised by Churches Together and led by the Rev Chris Stafford, Rector of Newchurch and Christ Church Croft. He said it was a very enjoyable afternoon.
