Wheel clamping is being ruthlessly enforced at the Dave Whelan gym in the town centre with motorists being charged £150 to release their cars.
The move, aimed at warding off shoppers from using the car park, is already causing controversy with several gym members claiming that their car has been wrongly clamped.
