A NOISY Latchford resident has had his televisions, speakers and a large ghetto blaster seized after he continually breached a council notice.
The electrical equipment was taken during a joint operation between Warrington Borough Council, Golden Gates Housing and Cheshire Police.
Clr Mike Biggin, executive board member for climate change and public protection, said: “In this particular case the occupant was given every opportunity to adjust his behaviour, which was extremely detrimental to the lives of his neighbours, but ultimately he chose not to. People in Warrington do not have to live with music thumping night after night.
“Our team will always try to resolve these matters informally but when a resident does not co-operate we have powers to remove noise making equipment, without notice and by force if required.”
