KINDHEARTED residents at a sheltered accommodation block in Latchford found a tasty way to help raise money for charity.
They tucked in to a hot pot supper and dug deep to fundraise for Children with Leukaemia after Jean Murray, one of the workers at Lyon Court, on Lyon Street, came up with the idea.
Her daughter, Warrington businesswoman Trish Murray and friend Elaine Hamilton, will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro next March for the children’s charity.
The hot pot supper raised £370 for the charity and if you would like to donate towards Trish and Elaine’s mountain trek visit virginmoneygiving.com/tlc
