A DENTIST pinned a woman down on her bed and rubbed himself against her, a court has heard.

Roger Klein, who works at the Regent Cosmetic Dental Practice in Malt Street, Knutsford, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman on Friday following a week-long trial.

The 41-year-old Lymm man has been remanded in custody and his case has now been referred to the General Dentistry Council, which could rule to strike him off.

Klein, who is married, arrived at the victim’s home to pick her up. She had agreed to help him hand out leaflets for his surgery at a charity event in Lymm on April 13, 2009 - after the attack.

The court heard that the woman let Klein into her house.

But after following her to the bedroom he grabbed her wrists and pulled her on top of him.

He then began to undo his trousers saying: "Do you want to see the goods?"

Klein, of Lady Acre Close, Lymm, also made several attempts to kiss her, saying: "I’m really horny."

The victim, who said she was ‘shocked’ by the incident, begged Klein to think about his wife.

Judge Martin Rudland remanded Klein in custody until September when he is due to be sentenced.

Knutsford’s Regent Cosmetic Dental Practice, where Klein works, provides services for the Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust (PCT).

A spokesman said the PCT will be working to ensure any impact on patients will be at a minimum.
