WATCH medieval craftsmen demonstrate skills mastered 600 years ago.
A 15th century living history encampment celebrating medieval pastimes and lifestyles, comes to Norton Priory Museum, from noon to 6pm, on Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6.
"It's a fantastic day out," said a visitor to last year's medieval traders festival. "The traders were able to tell us so much about how people used to live at this time at Norton Priory."
Visitors will be able to see how a scribe, herbalist, candle dipper, blacksmith and carpenter use resources of the forest and woodland around them in their everyday lives.
The medieval Perrotts Puppet Players will be demonstrating authentically made puppets and stage equipment.
Ex-Benedictine monk Peter Aherne, one of the Priory's volunteers, will be giving free tours of the Priory's ruins throughout the afternoon.
