NANTWICH Museum chairman Robert Stones has praised the town's artistic young talent which is currently on display at the venue.

The exhibition features paintings, drawings, textiles and photographs produced mainly by young people, who responded to the museum's call to let their imaginations roam around the town and produce work based on what they saw and felt.

A hanging banner depicting people through the ages against a Nantwich backdrop is also now on show at the museum.

Curator Susan Pritchard said: "Nantwich has inspired many artists over the years and continues to do so.

"This exhibition provides a platform for some new artists to display their work to a wider audience."

The display runs at the pillory Street venue until Saturday, August 12, and opening hours are between Monday and Saturday from 10.30am and 4.30pm.
