POLICE received reports of a number of drunken youths gathering around Middlewich over the weekend.
A group of youths were seen drinking, shouting and swearing by a bench by the canal near Nantwich Road at 2.30pm.
A resident reported 20 youths having a party in a field next to the Salinae Centre, in Lewin Street, at 1.30pm.
Drunken youths were also spotted congregating in Fountain Fields park at 10.15pm.
Then on Saturday a group of 10 teenagers were gathering and being a general nuisance on Chadwick Road at 4.15am.
At 2.10pm a group of youngsters on Sutton Lane playing fields were reported to police for being too loud.
Youths were also heard smashing bottles on Fountain Fields park at 12.20am on Sunday.
