COMMUNITY spirit was thriving at Victoria Road Primary School during a day with people from various agencies and organisations.
Pupils met with police, nurses and representatives from a number of firms who help to provide a safe, healthy and friendly environment to live in.
The event, part of the school's family learning scheme, was designed to show the children that people work in the community for their benefit.
