AS a regular, elderly cinema-goer at the Regal Cinema in Northwich for the past 10 years, I feel I must reply to Northwich Resident.
Firstly, I must point out that I have never visited on a Friday night, preferring Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
In all the 10 years there have only been three instances of teenage bad behaviour. Twice they were asked to leave and did so, and in the third instance an amicable solution was found.
On the other hand, there was the very annoying occasion when two elderly ladies talked loudly and clearly throughout the whole film, despite constant shushing and glares from the rest of us. I find the cinema staff pleasant, helpful and hard working, and hope that Northwich Resident can be persuaded to return, perhaps on a different night.
