MYSTERY customers will keep top florists on their toes as they aim to become the best in Britain.
Flower and Plant Works on Church Street, Runcorn are celebrating after winning a silver award for excellence in the Flower Shop of the Year competition.
"The whole team is ecstatic," said Barbara Monks who runs the business with her sister, Amanda Canning.
"The first round was really tough and we know the next one is going to get harder."
Mystery shoppers, unexpected calls and more questionnaires lie ahead as the challenge hots up.
The team is now going for gold, competing against 203 florists to be the UK champion.
