TWO brothers and a teenager look set to be facing a murder charge following the death of a dad-to-be.

William Jones, aged 16, Colin Algie, aged 18, both of Mendip Avenue, and David Algie, aged 20, of Bexhill Avenue, Hulme, all Warrington, were told at Warrington Crown Court that the Crown Prosecution Service intends to charge all three with murder.

Currently they each face a single charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm following an incident last month.

Michael Theaker, aged 22, died from injuries he sustained during the incident, which happened on Hallfields Road, Orford, on January 24.

The case has now been moved to Chester Crown Court and all three defendants are due to appear there for a plea and case management hearing on April 7. They were all remanded in custody.
