star millions
HAVING a mum who works at Blockbuster must be pretty exciting for any schoolboy.
But when Lewis McGibbon went to rent his favourite movie from his mum, it was a film with a difference.
Because the 12-year-old was one of the first to drop into the School Brow rental shop and pick up hit film Millions - the film he just happened to star in earlier this year.
Filmed in Widnes, Millions stars the Newman High School pupil with former Cold Feet actor James Nesbitt.
On Saturday, Lewis joined mum, Clare, to sign copies of the DVD for adoring fans.
And after a taste of the film star lifestyle, he is now keen for more, saying the buzz of filming was incredible.
In the future he would like to do a comedy with Will Smith or Jim Carrey "because they are really funny".
On the movie, which was filmed in summer 2003, Lewis plays Anthony, the quick-thinking older brother of two boys whose mum recently died.
