TWO overnight weekend closures of the slip roads at M6 Junction 16 near Stoke on Trent are planned for September 30 and October 28, while resurfacing work is carried out.
The northbound entry slip road to the M6 will be closed overnight on Friday September, 30, Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2, from 9pm until 8am.
The southbound exit slip road from the M6 will be closed overnight on Friday, October 28, Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30.
The five-mile resurfacing project between Junction 16 at Alsager and Junction 17 at Sandbach started in June, with three lanes maintained in each direction to minimise disruption.
This is part of the £9.6m upgrade of the M6, which is on schedule to be completed early next year.
