THE Grenson Motors Mid Cheshire Bowling Association season drew to a close last week with seven teams ending the year with something to shout about.
Frodsham Red Lion retained the section one title, beating second place Wharton Cons A by 61 points.
Bentley Motors are the new section two champions, but the Crewe-based side took the title by the narrowest of margins, beating Frodsham Red Lion B by just two points.
Section three was won by Barnton CC A, while section four went to Kelsall B.
Lostock B are the new section five champions while Wharton Rec B have been crowned winners of section six.
The only title still to be decided is section seven, but with two games to play Lostock C are 220 points clear of the only realistic challengers, Barnton CC C.
