MILLINGTON-based charity The Children's Adventure Farm Trust has received a £50,000 grant.

The charity, near Lymm, which provides trips and care for disabled and disadvantaged children, will build a wheelchair track with the money.

Helen Crowther, senior trust fundraiser, said: "This is wonderful news. This is a facility we've been wanting to build for many years, and will provide essential wheelchair access for disabled children to our extensive outdoor facilities and sports hall.

"The track will also improve access in the winter for all the hundreds of children who now visit the farm."

The money has been donated by Manchester Kids, the official charity of radio station Key 103.
