AMERICAN Football has hit Newton!
The Northwestern Redskins Club has expanded into the Senior League.
Based at the Newton Sports Club, Crow Lane East, the team will start its inaugural season in April 1997.
The club is looking for players and staff to join either the senior or the junior teams.
It does not matter whether you have played before. New starters will learn the game from two of the best coaches in Charlie E. Holland from Washington DC and Olando Holman from Philadelphia, USA.
They are looking to build on the success of the Northwestern Redskins' Youth team which practices and plays at Victoria Park, Warrington.

The pre-season meeting for players and staff is this Sunday at 12.30pm, practice starts on October 20 at 12.00 midday.
The initial practices will not be in full kit so just show up in sweats.
