THERE are now four teams on 14 points at the top of the Earlestown Town Furnishings Snooker League.
Garswood Labour A lost at home to HRR 4-2, both have 14 points. CYMS A were held to a draw at Earlestown Cons but stay on 14 - M. Dinsdale, CYMS A, made a fine 51 break in his win against Keith Hollis.
The other team on 14 are Vicars who were also held to a draw at CYMS B. S. Rawlinson, Vicars, had a 40 break against A. Shufflebotham, C. Hayden and J. Astley, CYMS B, made breaks of 30 each.
Stubshaw Cross Labour A were held to a draw at Haydock Catholic. Golborne Catholic A had a 4-2 win at Stubshaw Cross B.
Best win this week was Garswood Labour B's 5-1 triumph at the Vulcan. The Viaduct went to Golborne Catholic B and came away with a draw.
Highest break so far: M. Dinsdale (CYMS A) 77. Most wins, 100 per cent T. McDonald (Golborne Catholic A); M. Thompson (Haydock Catholic); and S. Rawlinson (Vicars).
