From what I have learned, I can only congratulate all those who are involved in this. It has had the support of all sections of the community, including 12 schools who have worked in great depth to help in the production of the bronze discs.

The children will have learned a great deal about the fruits of the trees and the fruits of the spirit, as each disc represents a different fruit, for example oak and love.

The whole theme is based on the beautiful passage from the Revelation of St. John, speaking of the Holy City, the new Jerusalem.

It may have caused us a bit of inconvenience while the work was being done but let us hope that the whole project will bring joy to visitors to Bridge Street, whether local or from afar.

It will be a lasting memorial to those who died in the Warrington bombing and a source of inspiration to all as we contemplate the goodness of God and the sense of community among all those who live in the Warrington area.

Thank you to all concerned for your imagination.

Life project is superb

I HAVE noticed over the last few weeks the variety of attitudes to the "River of Life" project in Bridge Street, so I decided to find out more about it.

From what I have learned, I can only congratulate all those who are involved in this. It has had the support of all sections of the community, including 12 schools who have worked in great depth to help in the production of the bronze discs.
