HOT-SHOT Phil Archer has got that winning feeling.

The Birchwood Golf Club assistant has so many trophies he does not know what to do with them all.

His biggest achievement of the year so far is finishing top of the PGA North Region Assistant Order of Merit, taken on his results throughout the year.

He won the Harold Lee Trophy in Sheffield, came second in the Lakes Classic at Windermere and set a new course record of 67 to win the PGA Matchplay qualifier at Gatley.

If that's not enough, he won the Alliance 36 hole Assistants' Championship at Dunham Forest, Altrincham, by seven shots.

His final 140 was the lowest total ever since the cup was first played in the 1920s.
