THE birth of baby Cieva Boyle has continued a remarkable fifth generation tradition for a Warrington Welsh family.

The little girl has a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who were all like her, the first-born children in their families.

Cieva born on July 26 in Warrington Hospital, lives with her parents Kevin and Karen in Burnside Avenue, Stockton Heath.

Her grandparents are Annette and John Boardman of St. Wilfrid's Drive, Grappenhall.

Great grandmother Mrs. Morfudd Tweedy, aged 73, lives in Denbigh, North Wales as does great great grandmother Eluned Griffiths, still managing to live alone at the age of 97.

Mrs. Boardman said: "We thought it was highly unusual that not only were there five generations of our family alive, but also that we were all first-born females in each generation."
