TEN unemployed young Warrington people are wanted to join in a unique course to improve their job prospects.
The Prince's Trust Action Recharge '96 programme includes a week's free stay at Butlins Wonderwest World Holiday Centre in Ayr, Scotland, in November, attended by 600 young people.
Participants aged 18 to 25 can choose from 60 different programmes designed to give them new skills and develop their potential.
Among the training on offer is: driving instruction by the Strathclyde Police; mountain climbing with RAF instructors; and fitness training. Participants will spend their mornings on work-related programmes including computer skills, typing and book-keeping. The residential course will be followed by weekly meetings over six months.
More than 70 per cent of those who attended last year have found employment or enrolled on training or further education courses. For details contact Barbara McInnes on 01928-580242 or Mike Stephenson on 01244-325867.
