A FOURTH candidate has come forward to fight the Warrington South seat in next year's General Election.

Gerald Kelly has been selected by the Referendum Party to contest the marginal constituency currently held by Labour's Mike Hall.

Mr. Kelly, aged 56, of Shepperton Close, Appleton, has been a part-time consultant for many years, having worked in mail order retailing for more than 30 years.

He has been married for 33 years and has a son, daughter and two grandchildren.

Mr. Kelly said: "The British people, whether they are for or against the European project, should be given the opportunity to choose whether we are to be governed from Westminster or Brussels.

"I strongly believe that we must 'Let the People Decide' and that is why the Referendum Party has my total support."

Mr. Kelly is the latest of four Prospective Parliamentary candidates for the seat which covers Stockton Heath, Appleton, Lymm, Grappenhall and Thelwall.

His rivals are: Chris Grayling for the Conservatives. Helen Southworth, Labour Party. Peter Walker, Lib-Dems.
