TOP score in the Warrington Sunday Soccer League was recorded by Fifth Division Richmond Raiders with an 11-1 win at Dog and Partridge.

It was only 3-0 at half-time. Peter Turco led the way with four, Kevin Dack, 3, John Riley, 2, Simon Hardman and Steve Lears.

In the same division Red Lion won 7-0 at Insall Raners. Two goals apiece here for Paul Smith and Steve Murad. Paul Rhodes, Tony Hill and ex-Rangers player Mike Bradshaw made it seven.

Gas Social, with goals from J. Houghton and A. Young, defeated Grappenhall Youth 2-0.

In the Premier Division, Grange Valley defeated UG Sports 4-0 with goals by Neil James 2, Brian Rose and Brian Hatton.

Beeches had a five-goal salvo at Sumner Street with goals coming from Darren Young, Scott White, Carl Mathews, Peter White and Ian Dyson. This victory puts them third.

There was an excellent comeback in Division Two when KK Cabs found themselves 3-0 down at half-time to Hounds and Hare. Second half goals from Jason Blekinsopp 2, Derek Musson and Chris Patton ensured the points went to the Cabmen.

Pierpoint and Bryant went top on goal difference after their 3-1 win over Greenwood OB, Micky Pitts, Mark Harris and Rob Shaw were the goalscorers.

Racing away with a nine point lead in Division Three are Trust Holt. They made it 10 league wins on the trot with a 7-0 win at Rylands. Jon Griffiths scored five, Dave Hutton and Tom Doubleday also got in on the act.

Pennine won 4-1 at Fiddlers Ferry with goals from Wayne Trantum 2, Paul Rathmill and Scott Heesom.

Two goals from Graham McArdle gave Broomfields a point at P&SSC.

In Division Four Daresbury Dynamo won their first league game of the season in style - 6-3 at home to Highwayman. Jay Fance, 2, Mike Lindop, Steve Pritchard, Graham Card and substitute Robbie Robinson found the target.

Poacher, with goals from Paul Smilie 2, Chris Bloor and Ian Cairns, proved too strong for Woolston OB.
