WARRINGTON Wolves' Great Britain star Paul Sculthorpe swept the board at the club's annual presentation night on Wednesday.

He added player, young player and players' player of the year awards to the main prize he received from the supporters in September.

Chairman Peter Higham said: "Paul has risen rapidly through the club. He was certainly one of the success stories of the Great Britain tour and he is probably the best signing we have made for a long, long time."

Runners-up in the Greenalls players' player category were Richard Henare and Mark Hilton. The sponsors' Academy player vote went to Paul Wingfield and Warren Stevens took the Alliance title.

Stevens was also honoured by the directors as the most improved in 1996, with Anthony Murray being their winner of the Alliance prize and Wingfield again taking the Academy glory.

Gary Chambers won clubman of the year and Jonathan Roper, try of the year!
