A MASSIVE cash windfall comes Warrington's way this week.

Warrington Wolves' main sponsors Greenalls have agreed a new deal.

The cash injection is expected to be well over £m and will be a record for the Wilderspool Club.

Full details will be announced next week.

On November 29 the new club shop in the Cockhedge Centre will be launched, featuring new merchandise. There will be a major Wolf Pack registration day on the 30th.

Season ticket sales continue with a whole range of discounts available to supporters wishing to re-new last year's tickets and for those who are buying for the first time.

Adults renewing their terrace season tickets can save £30 on total turnstile prices, the cost being £58. For non-renewals the price is £66. For pensioners the prices are £29 (renewal) and £33 (non-renewal).

In the Brian Bevan Stand, upto £44 of savings can be made. The prices for adults are currently £88 (renewal) and £99 (non-renewal).

These quoted discounts continue until December 24 so the message from Wilderspool is clear - buy season tickets for Christmas presents!

Warrington fans will get their first taste of 1997 action on January 17 when the Wolves entertain Salford Reds in a friendly. Proceeds will go to Gary Sanderson's Testimonial.

The new Super League season will start on March 15 with the Wolves' Challenge Cup campaign starting on February 8.

Academy matches will be staged before each of Warrington's home games, which will be played on Sundays at 3pm (unless televised), with entertainment commencing 35 minutes before the main matches.

That entertainment will include the Wolves' dance troupe, auditions for which will be held soon. Anyone interested, with dancing experience, should call Felicia Burns on 722694. Applicants should be aged between 15 and 20 years.

Wolves hooker Andy Bennett is due to sign a new contract but several Rugby Union clubs are also showing interest.
