HEARTLESS thieves have stolen three poppy collection boxes.
The boxes, which it is thought contained £60, had been on display at the Fir Grove Hotel, Black Bear garage in Latchford and a Shawcross wallpaper shop.
TRAFFIC cones, placed along the sides of roads leading to Rixton's war memorial, were also stolen.
The cones had been positioned to ease traffic congestion during the village parade on Remembrance Sunday.
