SIX Newton bobbies will be walking the beat from Southport to Haydock to raise money for victims of crime.
The policemen are taking part in a sponsored walk on November 20 to raise funds for a Christmas party for the elderly.
Sponsorship forms are available from Inspector Alf Bean at Earlestown Police Station, or donations can be made at the Victim Support Office in Newton Library.
