MONTHS of fund-raising by parents and governers has finally paid off for one Newton school.
The two groups managed to raise more than £6,000 to help pay for St Peter's CE Primary School library extension.
The extension means more children will now be able to use the library.
To mark the occasion, pupils joined forces with artist Dorothy Kenworthy to create a collage to decorate the entrance to the building.
