A FORMER Newton schoolboy has claimed top honours after passing out of Army training.
Daniel Hill, aged 20, of Rushton Drive, has earned the privilege of wearing the coveted Red Beret and Wings badge for passing the infamous Pre-parachute Selection Course and his basic parachute training.
Daniel's training included a three week battlecamp on the Otterburn live firing area in Northumberland.
