THE thrills and spills of Middlewich and District Round Table fun day came in the form of a breathtaking bungee jump and a wet and wild It's a Knockout competition.
Around 1,000 people moved on to Market Fields, Middlewich, for Saturday's entertainment, which also included an aerobics display, live bands, face-painting, novelty stalls and games.
Hundreds of pounds was raised by the event and this will be distributed by the Round Table to local charities.
Spokesman for Middlewich and District Round Table, John Humphries, said: "The weather wasn't too good but everyone still enjoyed the fun which went from noon until 7pm.
"The dunk tank was one of the most popular activities with people keen to pay to try to get various members of the Round Table soaked.
"It was a great success. The only problem we had was with a group of teenagers which caused trouble on Friday night.
"We had booked a fair which had to be cancelled because of an incident between these youths and people setting up the fair.
"It's a shame that these youngsters had to spoil the fun for others," he added.
