CINDERELLA with a difference takes to the stage for its opening night performance in Earlestown Town Hall on January 19.
NADOS (Newton Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society) is to present its updated version of the classic pantomime until January 23.
Joyce Thompson, publicity officer, said: "Popular music and new ideas have been blended into the traditional story with great success. Everything required for the perfect pantomime is contained within this show. It is hilarious!"
Produced by Luci Barhaw, the pantomime is a guaranteed success. Jean Gardner takes the role of leading lady Cinderella and her Prince Charming is played by Jenny Whitaker.
With the Ugly sisters, Buttons and a Fairy Godmother for company, the modern day performance is suitable for all ages and is set to be a sell out.
Tickets can be collected from Marie Lloyd on 01942 734842 or Joyce Thompson 01925 223158.
Adults £4, concessions £3, all balcony seats £4.50.
