A CREWE business looks likely to net its founders millions just three months since it went operational.

Matt Clarke set up internet service company 'E-Corp' with his business partner, Andy Roffe in January.

The Mill Street-based company works in e-commerce to provide everything people need to use the internet effectively.

Mr Clarke, 35, said: "We cannot believe how things have taken off. It has not so much escalated as exploded on us.

"I'm not up to speed with facts and figures, but apparently we're worth about £1 million already. We only started three months ago and we are already talking about floating the company on the stock market.

Since returning from London to start the business, he has spent little time at home in Middlewich.

"I've been working 18 hours a day and sleeping in the office," he said.

"It was Andy's idea originally and we both just jumped on it when we realised how good it was. It's been a rollercoster ride since then."

They chose Crewe as they felt it an ideal launchpad for their business.

"Things are happening here. New businesses get good support and I can't fault the Chamber of Commerce, they've been great," said Mr Clarke.

The company was started for only £60,000 and is already making a profit which is almost unheard of for a fledgling business.

It employs six full time staff and when it is floated on the stock exchange, possibly later this year, it looks set to make millions for its two entrepreneurs.

"Then it will be bye-bye to my Ford Granada and hello to a Porsche," said Mr Clarke.

"But there's no way I'll stop working then, I'll keep going until I'm the next Bill Gates."
