THE latest "Business Connections" event at the International Business Centre, Warrington, is a visit from a delegation from Slovakia.
The trade mission representatives aim to make contact with businesses and organisations interested in trading in the central European state.
The delegation is carrying out a trade mission throughout Europea, taking in Vienna, Frankfurt and Dublin.
Warrington and London are the only two stops in the UK.
Alan Turley, head of economic development with Warrington Borough Council, said : "We hope Warrington businesses will take advantage of the opportunities this trade mission will open for them. Slovakia is a region of enormous potential for investment and we want to give Warrington organisations the opportunity to develop their business on a global scale."
The delegation will include representatives from the manufacturing, engineering, development and production industries, along with other leaders of business and industry.
The trade mission is on November 28.
