A HAPPY coincidence has seen Warrington's most famous son Pete Postlethwaite become the face of 10 year's of beer brewing in his home town.
The Coach House Brewing Company were delighted when the movie super-star's cousin called out of the blue to offer his relative's services to name a beer.
Originally Pete had wanted to call the 4.6 per cent bitter The Sins, after the BBC series he currently stars in - but for copyright reasons he had to settle with Postlethwaite.
And the response has been remarkable, with Coach House selling the drink the length and breadth of the country.
Company director Tony Gandy said: "We celebrate our 10 years in February, but we launched the beer 10 years to the day since Greenalls stopped brewing. It was by complete coincidence that his cousin called and the response to it has been incredible."
