Northwich under-16s lost 43-10 to a strong Chester side, who brought on a county front row forward to dig them out of a tight situation when only 12-7 ahead.
On Sunday, the mini and midi teams are away to Widnes, the under-13s and under-14s at home to Widnes, and pool matches will be arranged for the under-16s and Colts.
