FOUR pub regulars are due to sacrifice their precious locks tonight in aid of Children of Need.
The event is part of a series of fund-raisers being staged at the Queen's Head Hotel in Congleton to support the national charity.
Talkative landlord Tony Gunner is being sponsored to keep mum for a whole day, and Stars in their Eyes finalist Matthew Shaw is taking part in a karaoke evening tonight.
To add to the fun Knypersley Vics under-12 football team will be pulling a narrowboat to the pub tomorrow.
Mr Gunner's 11-year-old son James plays for the team, which aims to pull the boat, helped by pub customers, five miles along the canal from Scholar Green to the Queen's Head.
