Latchford Alb...40
West Bank...4
PLAYING their first game for three weeks Albion produced good rugby to beat a plucky Widnes team on Saturday.
Early pressure saw Fowler score and with Mellor adding the goal it was just the start they wanted.
This was cancelled out by the visitors scoring in the corner.
Albion scored through Warburton, Parridge, two and Dean, one which was goaled to make the half-time score 24-4.
The second half saw Albion miss several chances but they scored again through Warburton. Taylor, Dean and Donno, two, scored and Mellor goaled to finish the scoring.
Outstanding for Latchford were Fowler and Warburton in the backs while Green and Donno were best in the forwards.
